German Orators - Charisma, Charm And Other Reasons They Are So Sought After

Charisma is a very difficult personality trait that one can try to pin down. There are people who have an almost magnetic quality about them, whereby they can draw in people around them and influence them in significant ways. Throughout history, one can see that there have been many different individuals who have had this particular trait. They have used this "power", so to speak, for both good and bad. A lot of individuals will find that political leaders tend to fare quite well in this regard, but the same can be said for those who work in the field of business. Some might be wondering if German speakers are more charismatic than others.

For many people, charisma could be down to the style of the language that they use. Those who have some form of understanding of this particular language are obviously going to comprehend certain nuances within it. It is also interesting to note how similar this language is with regards to English. Certain similarities can be drawn by English speakers when they settle down to study German speakers.

English, of course, is considered to be a member of the Germanic family of languages which includes a wide range of other European languages. Icelandic, Danish and the Scandinavian tongues all come from the same family. There are certain words in both English and German which evolved from the same routes. This can most clearly be seen in "deep" and "tief", both meaning the same thing.

There are also plenty of examples of different leaders in Germany who were charismatic. Adolf Hitler, a failed Austrian artist, is one of Germany's most well-known political leaders and dictators. He captured the German public in times of deep recession and managed to win them over with his awe-inspiring speeches. This of course lead to a whole range of atrocities which took place, resulting in one of the world's biggest wars.

It is clear to see that a very powerful effect had worked its magic on the people of this country. Of course, this also got out of hand and there are those that do think perhaps it had something to do with the language which was spoken. Indeed, German itself does have a very commanding tone to it.

The commanding aspect of the language is probably what would make German speakers more charismatic than anyone else. Going back to English speakers' perception of this language, one can see that most find it almost militaristic on some level. Indeed, as a country Germany is renowned for its efficiency and their excellence when it comes to the sciences and other technical fields.

Overall, a lot of people believe that it is probably the language's commanding aspect that makes people think that German speakers have a more charismatic aura about them. Sometimes, however, they might be seen as being rather too serious. Of course, this depends on the individual themselves. Sometimes, charisma is something that transcends language.

When it comes to the aspects of charisma with regards to language, there are a number of different studies available which can be sought out on the Internet. For the most part, German speakers do have a commanding tone.
