Flights between Belgrade and Dubrovnik are ready to resume after twenty years on June seventeen when Jat Airways launches two weekly flights between the 2 towns. Three days later Croatia Airlines will also inaugurate services between Dubrovnik and Belgrade. Between the 2 state carriers a total of 4 flights and 282 seats will be on offer every week. But interest has been suddenly low. Both airlines are supplying seats to tour operators and a certain quantity of seats have been put directly on sale to passengers wanting to travel individually, instead of through a tour agent.
The Association of Serbian Tour Operators told the Tanjug stories agency that interest for taking a holiday in Croatia has fallen seriously in comparison to last year while Greece followed by Turkey, Spain and Montenegro remain the primary holiday choices. Interest in taking a vacation in Tunisia and Egypt in the summer is virtually nonexistent, which will lead to a big reduction in charter flights to the two North African nations, which lately experienced violent revolutions as reported on business news.

The holiday of St Blaise ( who is Dubrovnik's guardian saint ) takes place on 3rd February 2011, and includes 2 rites in which the people of Dubrovnik pay their respect to the saint. The once a year Libertas Film holiday showcases world and Croatian films and also can include EU premieres of certain films.
The holiday will occur from eleventh to 17th Apr 2011. Easter, 24th Apr 2011, will be celebrated in Dubrovnik as some place else in Croatia held to the Old town for parties.
