American's fall short in Boston Marathon 2010
Hall and Keflilezighi fell short of their bid to bring the Boston Marathon title back to the U.S.--where an American hasn't won since Greg Meyer in 1982. But Runners World says that this year's Boston Marathon on Patriot's Day was the most talented field in 10 years, including defending champions Deriba Merga and Salina Kosgei. Winners from the past, Dire Tune, Lidiya Grigoryeva, and Catherine Ndereba, raced today as well.
