3. Galdar
Up north of Gran Canaria is Galdar, a beautiful, rustic town. A charming town, it is the ideal place to go if you want peace, quiet, and nature. There are also beautifully preserved archaeological sites such as the Cueva Pintada and Cenobio de Valeron's communal silos and tombs. You can also drop by the port of Sardina del Norte where Christopher Columbus got supplies for his ships.
