One such building is the huge castle that sits at the highest point in the city. These old buildings, along with more modern ones and evidence of old olive farms, are still standing. The city was abandoned when a series of earthquakes raised safety concerns. Because of these earthquakes, it's unknown how much longer the city will be standing.
