The results in Dubrovnik-Neretva County are similar. In the 1st seven months arrivals increased by 7 %, and overnight stays by 5 p.c. Hotel traffic increased by seven p.c, while the camps and non-public owners noted a decline of three and two %.
"The first information shows typically the rise in income compared against last year, but we will see what will happen with the pricetag side of the total business," announced Vladimir Bakic, director of TZ Dubrovnik-Neretva county.
President of Dubrovnik travel agencies points out that the most luxurious hostels achieved the best results and are scheduled from May to late Sep. Hotels with five stars are literally sold out.
"We are achieving very good prices and according to the situation as it is now, a recession has passed," claimed Luca Baca from Grand Villa Argentina - a beautiful villa found in an exclusive area, close to the consequential center of Dubrovnik.
